Cigarettes are a product that almost everyone is familiar with. Even though cigarettes contain several substances that are harmful to the body, for consumers who are already addicted to cigarettes, consuming cigarettes is a basic necessity. This study aims to determine the effect of social factor variables on purchasing decisions for Sampoerna brand cigarettes in the city of Mataram. The type of research used is causal research. This study's population was Mataram City residents who consumed Sampoerna brand cigarettes. The number of samples taken was 50; the sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique, and the data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that social factors had a positive and insignificant influence on purchasing decisions for Sampoerna brand cigarettes. This study aimed to determine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the constraints farmers face in garlic farming in Sembalun District as a centre of garlic production nationally. The was used qualitative descriptive method by determining 30 respondents who did garlic farming before and during the covid 19 pandemic. Based on the results, the income of garlic farmers in Sembalun District before the Covid-19 pandemic was significantly different from that of garlic farming during the pandemic. To find out a description of the economic feasibility in terms of product market conditions, technical aspects, management aspects, legal aspects, social, economic, and environmental aspects of the shark skin cracker business. 2). To determine the value of the sensitivity rate of Gross B/C and Payback Periods to the variable of changes in production decline and the variable of changes in the increase in production costs in the shark skin cracker business. The research design used exploratory sequential mixed methods with the Break Even Point method. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, observation and recording. The research area was chosen, namely East Lombok Regency, sampling was purposive sampling with the consideration that there were 15 units of shark skin cracker business centers located in Keruak District, Sakra District, and Pringgabaya District. By taking the number of respondents as many as 15 respondents. The results showed that: 1). Shark skin cracker business based on the criteria of economic feasibility is feasible. 3). Untuk itu, diperlukan penggalian potensi unggulan daerah melalui penentuan komoditi unggulan. Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW) Tahun 2012-2032, memliki kebijakan dan strategi berupa penetapan kawasan agropolitan di&nbsp; Kabupaten Lombok Timur&nbsp; dengan sektor unggulan hortikultura yang diarahkan di Sembalun. Namun belum ada penentuan komoditi unggulan Sub-Sektor hortikultura yang langsung merujuk kepada jenis-jenis komoditinya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengidentifikasi komoditas-komoditas di sub sektor hortikultura yang ada di Kabupaten Lombok Timur; 2) menganalisis komoditi unggulan sub sektor hortikultura dan 3) menganalisis potensi diversifikasi produk dari komoditi unggulan yang ada. Then on the irrigation aspect b1 of 98.63%, and the farming aspect there are 2 indicators that have the same suitability value and the highest is c1 of 89.61%, c2 of 89.61%. In the financial aspect, d2 is 97.33%, and the last is the role of the government e1 is 98.68%. The indicator that has the highest conformity value becomes the main priority. In the IPA Analysis (Performance Analysis Index), quadrant A is a quadrant that is a top priority that is very influential in the level of gp3a performance. This research uses the descriptive method. The research was conducted in Sembalun Village, Sembalun District because Sembalun District is the largest garlic production center in East Lombok. The results of data analysis on the SWOT diagram obtained coordinates 0.79; 0.87, which coordinates are in square 3, namely strategy</em><em> </em><em>stabilization. This strategy suggests that a stable situation can still be developed. The method used in this research is descriptive method with data collection using questionnaires and interviews. This research was carried out in Setuta Village, Janapria District, Central Lombok Regency with the consideration that of the 12 villages in Janapria District that conduct broiler chicken farming, Setuta Village mostly conducts livestock business with close house and open house systems. The results showed that the average total cost incurred by farmers using the open house system was Rp. 40,574/head or Rp. 85,203,809/period with an average number of chickens of 2,100. As for the close house system breeders, the costs incurred are IDR 40,803/head or IDR 244,815,170/period with an average number of 6,000 chickens. The average income received by farmers with open house systems is Rp. 3,861/head or Rp. 8,108,646 /period with an average number of chickens of 2,100, while farmers with close house systems are Rp. 6,000/head or Rp. 41,844,051/period. with an average of 6000 chickens.</em></p> Yuliana Ashri Copyright (c) 2022 Journal of Agri Rinjani: Social Agricultural Economics - Faculty of Agriculture, UGR 2022-12-27 2022-12-27 2 2 94 100 10.53952/jar.v2i2.160 MARKETING ANALYSIS OF ARWOOD IN LOMBOK ISLAND https://agririnjani.ugr.ac.id/index.php/ar/article/view/200 <p><em>This study aims to determine the marketing channel and the efficiency level of marketing of gaharu on Lombok Island. This research was conducted in four regions: West Lombok Regency, North Lombok Regency, Central Lombok Regency, and Mataram City. The respondents consisted of four people: three district-level collectors and one exporter. Determining marketing agency respondents is done using the "Snowball Sampling" method. The analysis tool used is profit analysis of marketing institutions and analysis of marketing efficiency. The results of this study indicate that there are three marketing channels for Lombok Island agarwood. The profits of each marketing agency for the Lombok Island agarwood from November to December 2012 amounted to Rp. 2,125,000 per kilogram for Regency collectors and Rp. 364,400,000 per kilogram for agarwood exporters.
